Some of these activities run outside school hours under the guidance of our staff and we welcome the support of our parents helping with these activities and providing transport.

Educational and residential visits (two nights) for Year 7 are encouraged and are considered an integral part of the school’s curriculum programme.

We are involved in the Dissolving Boundaries Project which encourages distance learning links Our partner is the Presentation Convent Primary School in Tralee, Co Kerry.

We are also embarking on e-twinning and Comenius projects and we intend to develop further links with schools in Europe and further afield.

During the course of each year various charities are supported. In recent years our children have supported Trocaire, Newry Lions, Action MS and the Flood victims in Pakistan.
